Apples for the Students works with grocery stores to provide more than $275 million worth of FREE computers, equipment, programs and educational tools to local schools. During the 2019/­2020 receipt collection period, 6 local schools participated in Big John’s Apples for the Students program. They collected 811,500 points in receipt totals. Big John’s donated school supplies and equipment at Maple Grove Elementary School, Franklin Elementary School, Brookport Elementary School, Unity Elementary School, Jefferson Elementary School and Metropolis Elementary School.
